Emerald Dixon: Founder & Principal Consultant

Emerald Dixon is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Emerald Tier Consultancy, LLC, where she helps ambitious entrepreneurs and small business owners scale strategically, strengthen operations, and unlock sustainable growth. Her work is grounded in the belief that empowered, decisive business leaders are essential to maintaining a strong and dynamic economy.

Emerald brings a uniquely strategic background spanning finance, healthcare, and business development. She previously served as a Senior Business Developer, Loan Officer, and Field Operations Team Lead with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), gaining deep expertise in capital acquisition, debt structuring, and risk mitigation. Her experience also includes leading complex project management initiatives within major healthcare institutions, including The University of Texas Health and organizations across the Texas Medical Center, ensuring every strategy she delivers is operationally sound and outcome-driven.

In addition to her consulting work, Emerald serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Texas Southern University in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she teaches courses in Long-Term Care, Global Health, Health Disparities, and the History and Sociology of Healthcare. She also serves on the university’s Healthcare Administration Alumni Advisory Board, contributing to curriculum development and workforce readiness initiatives.

Emerald holds an MBA from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Public Affairs from Texas Southern University, where she was named a Distinguished Alumni in 2018.
